Declaration Of War wins G1 Queen Anne

Declaration Of War today won the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes in brilliant style, wearing the Triabit, to open Royal Ascot 2013. He beat a quality field, including the heavily backed Kentucky Derby winner, Animal Kingdom.

Trained by Aidan O'Brien and ridden by his son, Joseph, Declaration Of War won his sixth race today (from eight starts). Joseph O'Brien always looked to be on the best horse in the race but had to fight to take a split between horses, before powering home over the rest of the field.
Romantic Touch wins G1 JJ Atkins

Perfectly ridden by Nash Rawiller, Romantic Touch today won the Group 1 JJ Atkins Stakes at Eagle Farm over 1600 metres, wearing the Triabit.

Trained by Gai Waterhouse, Romantic Touch ended a 6-year Group 1 drought in Queensland for the champion trainer. He was too strong for his rivals and claimed the win in the $500,000 race by beating 12 other top two-year-olds.
Medicean Man wins Listed Mere Stakes

Trainer Jeremy Gask produced another wonderful result for Mediciean Man today, who won the Listed Mere Golf Resort & Spa Achilles Stakes, wearing the Triabit.

Having his first start since returning from Dubai, Medicean Man won going away from his rivals, putting him in contention for the King's Stand at Ascot (in which he ran fourth last year).,,11068_564587,00.html
Sizzling wins G2 Queensland Guineas

Sizzling today won the Group 2 Queensland Guineas, wearing the Triabit. Trained by Kelso Wood, and ridden by Chris Munce, Sizzling was strong for his rivals, making a charge from the 600 metre mark to win.
