Mawingo wins G1 Doomben Cup

Mawingo, trained by Anthony Freedman and ridden by Nash Rawiller, today won the $500,000 G1 Doomben Cup, wearing the Triabit.

Mawingo, starting at 7/1, defeated Lights of Heaven and the odds-on favourite Manighar. The German import was able to score his first G1 win after just three starts in Australia, and provides Anthony Freedman with his first G1 win.
Triabit trifecta in Listed Ramsden Stakes

Dame Claire today won the Listed Andrew Ramsden Stakes at Flemington, leading home a Triabit trifecta.

Trained by Pat Carey, and ridden by Craig Newitt, Dame Claire started at 7/1. She beat home Maythehorsebemagic (trained by Michael Moroney) and Crafty Cruiser (trained by Bryce Stanaway) to complete a Triabit trifecta in the the race.
Hume wins Chairmen's Handicap at 40/1

The Brian Smith-trained Hume, wearing the Triabit, today smashed the field in the Chairmen's Handicap at Doomben.

Starting at 40/1, the eight-year-old Hume was able to readily account for his rivals, storming down the outside to win by three quarters of a length.
Macho Macho win on Kentucky Derby Day

On his first outing in the Triabit, the Steve Asmussen-trained Macho Macho posted an impressive win today at Churchill Downs.
